    For over 25 years, National Experienced Workforce Solutions (NEW Solutions) has specialized in connecting experienced workers (ages 55+) with full-time and part-time job opportunities that support the critical missions of Federal Agencies across the United States.

    NEW Solutions connects experienced workers (ages 55+) with the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). These experienced professionals provide administrative, scientific, and technical support to the Environmental Protection Agency through the Senior Environmental Employment (SEE) Program.

    Benefits: Paid Health Insurance Premium for positions budgeted at 60+ hours per pay period, Accrued Vacation and Sick Leave, Paid Federal Holidays, and optional Vision and Dental Insurance available for positions budgeted at 35+ hours per pay period.

    Qualifications:

    Minimum of 3 year(s) of experience in Administrative Support OR AA Degree

    • Experience required with Windows, MS Word, WordPerfect, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS SharePoint, MS Teams, MS Outlook, MS OneDrive, Fax, Copying Machine, Scanner
    Duties:

    Serves as Executive/Administrative Assistant to political team, providing comprehensive executive and administrative support in a fast-paced environment. Independently manages executive operations, coordinates complex schedules and competing priorities. Exercises sound judgment, discretion, and diplomacy in handling sensitive and confidential matters while ensuring the efficient operation of the Immediate Office.

    • Provides comprehensive executive calendar management for the OCSPP Immediate Office (IO), including scheduling complex meetings, resolving conflicts, prioritizing requests, coordinating travel, and ensuring executives are prepared with briefing materials and meeting logistics.   40%
    • Serves as the primary administrative liaison for the IO by coordinating with EPA leadership offices, program offices, regional offices, the Office of the Administrator, and external stakeholders. Screens requests, manages correspondence, and responds to inquiries requiring tact and discretion.   25%
    • Coordinates executive meetings, briefings, and events by arranging conference rooms, audiovisual support, visitor access, security requirements, agendas, briefing materials, and protocol for internal and external participants. Greets and escorts visitors as appropriate.   20%
    • Monitors action items, meeting requests, invitations, speaking engagements, and executive deliverables to ensure timely completion.   15%
