Executive Administrative Assistant

The Executive Administrative Assistant at Arizona Western College provides high-level administrative leadership and support to the division, directly supporting the Executive Vice President of the Entrepreneurial College. This role exercises independent judgment and discretion while serving as a key liaison across the college, ensuring efficient operations and delivering responsive, student-centered service that supports student success and a seamless college experience. Typical Duties:
  • Serves Students. Oversees the division as the lead Executive Administrative Assistant. Liaison to all areas of the college, acts on behalf of the Division by exercising a high degree of independent judgement and discretion in all confidential matters of significance. Supervises the work of others, including hiring, training, performance evaluations, and professional growth. Supports all student requests and addresses concerns. Reviews and responds to student submissions in reporting software, and works with the VP and faculty to respond to student submissions. Creates correspondence on behalf of the VP, including student, internal, and external correspondence. Interprets agreements and regulations of policy, procedures, and guidelines. Review and compose department policies and processes to increase efficiencies. Understands, interprets, reviews, /revises College Procedures and Policies annually for supervisor's approval.

Required Qualifications:
  • Associate's Degree and six (6) years of clerical experience, OR
  • High School diploma (or equivalent) and eight (8) years of clerical experience

  • An equivalent combination of education and/or experience from which comparable knowledge, skills and
    abilities have been achieved may be considered
Additional Eligibility Requirements:
  • Arizona Driver's License or Equivalent
Salary: $50,544- $53,576 per year, depending on experience.
