This position involves supporting the executive in developing business unit strategies and goals that ensure compliance with laws and organizational policies, aligned with overall organizational objectives.
It includes planning, executing, and coordinating significant managerial assignments across various program and functional areas of the executive.
The role also entails prescribing and influencing actions related to the adoption of service-wide policies, as well as negotiating policy matters with internal and external organizations to ensure the executive's views are understood and considered.
Depending on the grade level, the incumbent may receive training and opportunities to develop skills, with lower grades allowing for learning and growth in performing these duties.
