Position Title: Executive Assistant (Business Services)
Qualifications:
Possess those characteristics which will promote success in fulfilling the job goals.
High School Diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent.
Post-secondary degree in an office management related field, and/or 5+ years of experience resulting in demonstration of skills commensurate with the degree.
Wisconsin Notary Public Commission (eligible for upon hire and obtained within 3 months of hire).
Demonstrated competency in the following:
computer applications (word processing, spread sheets, e-mail, data base, etc.)
office equipment skills (10 key numeric pad, copy machines, FAX, printers, etc.)
office practices (phone etiquette, memo and letter form/composition, filing)
Demonstrated competency in the following ability and skill areas: grammar, spelling, vocabulary, analysis, mathematics, and accuracy with speed and attention to detail.
Job Description: Maintains strict confidentiality and exercises sound judgment when handling sensitive, confidential, and legally protected information, including personnel, student, financial, and organizational matters. Conducts research, gathers and analyzes information, and compiles data to support departmental operations, decision-making, planning, and special projects. Establishes and maintains organized, accurate, and accessible records and information management systems related to the supervisor's responsibilities, in accordance with District procedures and applicable records retention requirements. Attends Board of Education, Board committee, and other designated meetings and accurately records, prepares, and distributes meeting minutes and related documentation as assigned. Processes purchasing and financial transactions as directed, including purchase orders, invoices, reimbursements, and other related documentation, while following established District procedures.
Reports To: Executive Director of Finance and Operations
Terms of Employment: This a 12-month, 8 hours per day position.
