BCBST is hiring an Executive Administrative Professional!

We're looking for a highly organized, trusted partner who thrives in fast-paced executive environments and brings precision, discretion, and strong judgment to every interaction-especially when supporting senior leaders and external stakeholders.

In this role, you'll drive executive effectiveness by developing high-quality reports and polished correspondence, managing sensitive communications with officers and executive members of external organizations, and creating impactful visual presentations for senior leadership. You'll expertly prioritize complex calendars, manage high-volume communications, coordinate meetings and sales-related travel, process expense reports, and support distribution activities such as coordinating event tickets. You'll also serve as project manager for special initiatives, maintain confidential and non-routine information, and leverage your working knowledge of Microsoft tools, basic AI applications, and electronic signature platforms such as Docusign to streamline executive operations.

Success in this role means executive leaders stay focused on strategy, critical projects move forward efficiently, expenses and travel are handled accurately and on time, and stakeholder relationships are supported with professionalism and care. Your ability to master Microsoft Office tools, apply emerging technologies, and deliver executive-ready work will directly impact leadership effectiveness and business outcomes.

  • This is a remote role with occasional travel within Tennessee, including BCBST's headquarters in Chattanooga.

Job Responsibilities

  • Developing reports and composing, critiquing and editing correspondence, as well as interfacing at the highest level with officers/executive members of external companies and/or organizations regarding sensitive information.
  • Creating and developing visual presentations for senior executives; organizing and prioritizing a large volume of incoming calls and calendar appointments.
  • Maintaining confidential and non-routine information and acting as project manager for special projects pertaining to executive staff.
  • Supporting Executive Leadership for all administrative needs. Scheduling meetings and making travel arrangements.
  • This job requires Microsoft Office testing.

Job Qualifications

Education

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience

  • 5 years - Progressive administrative experience required

Skills\Certifications

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision or function in a team environment sharing responsibility, roles and accountability.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and Powerpoint)
  • Must be a team player, be organized and have the ability to handle multiple projects
  • Ability to solve problems via the analysis and interpretation of conducting research
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
