Executive Support Staff

Benton County Finance is searching for an exceptional administrative professional to join our team! This position will serve as Executive Support staff to the Chief Financial Officer and Deputy Director of Financial Services in helping support the oversight and efficient business operations of the Financial Services Department (FSD). The position will be responsible for providing direct administrative support to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) by helping to support the implementation of Department goals, objectives, strategies, and policies for the overall business and financial operations. In addition, this position will support other teams within the FSD by providing administrative and support services that help the efficient and effective delivery of internal business and financial services. More specifically, the position will help improve operational efficiency and compliance by developing streamlined process improvement to the general procurement of county goods and services.

Minimum qualifications include an associate's degree from an accredited college and 5 years of responsible administrative or related support experience. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. A cover letter is required to be submitted with your application.

The ideal candidate will have strong executive-level administrative support experience, with the ability to manage complex scheduling, coordinate meetings, prepare professional reports and correspondence, and support high-level projects and business processes. They will possess exceptional organizational, communication, and project management skills, along with the ability to handle multiple priorities with accuracy, professionalism, and attention to detail. They will be highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite programs, including Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Teams. They will have experience with website management, records organization, onboarding and recruitment coordination, committee administration, and business writing. They will demonstrate initiative in researching and improving administrative processes, supporting organizational change and efficiency efforts, and providing excellent internal and external customer service while working collaboratively across teams and departments. They will demonstrate a high attention to detail.
