Job Title:        Executive Assistant, Executive Department
Department:   Executive
Reports to:     Director, Executive Office & Head of Internal Communications
FLSA Status:  Exempt      
Salary:            $104,000 - $116,000
 
Summary:
Administrative professional in the Executive Department of top trade association supporting CEO/President, and Executive Vice President. Administrative duties include day-to-day support, managing correspondence, scheduling, and preparing the Executive Team for all meetings and events.  Coordinates with the Director of Executive Office to keep the Executive Department and the association running smoothly. The ideal candidate has strong written and communication skills; is a self-starter who is dependable, energetic, and maintains a high level of decorum and discretion.
 
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following (other duties may be assigned):
  • Manage and maintain the daily schedules and provide day-to-day support; duties include meeting planning, expenses, travel, and project management.   
  • Provide prep materials for CEO and EVP prior to key meetings. 
  • Represent the executive team to staff, member companies, Board members, and other industry executives.
  • Assist in managing Board of Directors relationships and materials
  • Support Director of Executive Office in internal communications, events and programs. 
  • Candidate must be flexible to work overtime, as needed.

Computer skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access and Power Point) and Adobe Acrobat.  Strong Internet research and computer skills are required. 
 
Education and/or experience: 
Bachelor's degree from four-year College or University – 4 to 6 years of experience preferred. 
 
Language skills:
Detail-oriented with knowledge of grammar and punctuation. Strong writing and proofreading skills are required.

Location:
CTIA is currently operating on a hybrid work schedule with in-person requirements on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays in its Washington, DC office.
