The City and County of Denver offers a competitive salary commensurate with education and experience. The salary range for this position is $26.84-40.27/hour. New hires are typically brought into the organization with a starting pay between $26.84-34.76/hour, based on education and experience. Location & Schedule
This position is on a hybrid schedule, and is located at 1200 Federal Blvd, Denver, CO. The City and County of Denver supports a hybrid workplace model. Employees' physical work location is based upon the position's job duties and requirements, customer service and responsiveness, team and individual performance, and business needs and requirements. Our current practice requires in-office work for all employees for a minimum of three days per week. Business needs and initial onboarding may require additional days in the office.

About the Role
Denver Human Services (DHS), within the City and County of Denver, is seeking a motivated and highly skilled Executive Assistant III to serve as a strategic partner to the Executive Director. This is a high‑trust, high‑visibility role responsible for managing administrative operations and strengthening executive relationships as the central point of contact for the Mayor's Office staff, internal leadership teams, partner agencies, and external stakeholders.
The Executive Assistant III serves as a trusted member of the executive team and the primary support to the Executive Director. You will learn the Executive Director's priorities, communication style, and working preferences, anticipate needs, protect time for key priorities, and provide respectful advice when appropriate. Acting as a force multiplier, you will ensure the Executive Director's time, meetings, communications, and daily priorities move forward seamlessly in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
