    • Employment: Full-Time Contractor Position, W-2 through Fidelity Partners
    • Schedule: Full-time, 8-hour workday. Normal operating hours are approximately 8:30 AM–5:00 PM, with the specific tour of duty established by NIH.
    • Work Arrangement: Primarily on-site. Up to 240 hours of situational/ad hoc telework may be authorized with prior Government approval.
    • Period of Performance: September 10, 2026–September 9, 2027, with an anticipated one-year option period through September 9, 2028 and a potential extension.
    • Security: Level 1 – Non-Sensitive; successful NACI/suitability determination required.
    • Government-Furnished Equipment: NIH will provide required equipment and workspace, including a laptop, monitors, ID badge, office/desk keys, and general office supplies.

    Compensation & Benefits

    • Total Compensation:$48.84/hour
    • Paid Sick Leave: Up to 56 hours per year
    • Paid Vacation: Two weeks after one year of service, increasing based on qualifying length of service
    • Paid Federal Holidays: 11 per year

    The $43.42 hourly wage corresponds to Administrative Assistant (01020) under Wage Determination No. 2015-4269, Revision 34. The applicable EO 13706 Health & Welfare rate is $5.42 per hour, bringing the combined wage and H&W amount to $48.84/hour.

    Position Summary

    Fidelity Partners is seeking an experienced Executive Assistant IV to provide high-level executive, administrative, and operational support to senior leadership within the National Institutes of Health (NIH) in Bethesda, Maryland.

    The Executive Assistant IV will independently manage complex administrative functions, executive schedules, meetings, correspondence, records, travel coordination, procurement and property activities, and special projects. This position requires a high degree of professionalism, discretion, organization, and the ability to effectively support senior executives in a fast-paced environment.

    Minimum Qualifications

    Candidates must meet one of the following education and experience combinations:

    • College degree plus a minimum of four (4) years of related experience; or
    • High school diploma/GED plus a minimum of eight (8) years of related experience.

    Candidates should also possess:

    • Experience providing administrative or executive-level support.
    • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
    • Advanced computer skills and proficiency with standard office applications and internet research.
    • Ability to manage complex calendars, schedules, meetings, and competing priorities.
    • Ability to prepare professional correspondence, reports, presentations, and executive-level materials.
    • Experience handling sensitive, confidential, and time-sensitive information with discretion.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to interact professionally with senior leadership and personnel at all organizational levels.
    • Experience supporting senior executives, SES-level officials, or C-suite leadership is highly desirable.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    The Executive Assistant IV will perform duties including, but not limited to:

    • Manage complex calendars, appointments, meetings, and schedules for senior leadership.
    • Coordinate meetings, conferences, events, and other executive activities.
    • Prepare agendas, briefing materials, presentations, reports, correspondence, and other documentation.
    • Coordinate meeting logistics and ensure required materials are prepared and distributed.
    • Assist with travel planning, authorizations, itineraries, and related administrative documentation.
    • Prepare and process personnel, procurement, property, and other administrative actions.
    • Maintain databases, spreadsheets, records, files, and tracking systems.
    • Organize and maintain electronic documents, SharePoint resources, and document libraries.
    • Draft, review, format, and edit correspondence and other executive-level materials.
    • Serve as a liaison between senior leadership, NIH offices, administrative personnel, and external stakeholders.
    • Respond to administrative inquiries and coordinate requests for information and data calls.
    • Assist with developing and maintaining administrative policies, procedures, and standard operating procedures.
    • Track deadlines, assignments, action items, and deliverables to ensure timely completion.
    • Conduct internet and administrative research as requested.
    • Analyze administrative processes and recommend improvements where appropriate.
    • Provide support for special projects and other high-priority initiatives.
    • Safeguard confidential, sensitive, and non-public Government information.
    • Perform other executive and administrative support duties as assigned.
