The Executive Assistant provides high-level administrative, organizational, and operational support to the Development Department and the Friends of Public Radio AZ. This position serves as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders and helps ensure the smooth and efficient daily operations of the department. The position manages calendars, communications, scheduling, special projects, board-related activities, donor correspondence, and office workflows while maintaining strict confidentiality. This role requires excellent judgment, professionalism, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced nonprofit environment dedicated to supporting public radio.
Essential Functions
30% - Executive Administrative Support: Provides comprehensive administrative support to senior leadership through calendar management, scheduling, correspondence, travel coordination, and prioritization of daily activities.
25% - Board and Governance Support: Coordinates board and committee meetings by preparing agendas, meeting materials, minutes, and maintaining confidential governance records.
20% - Development and Donor Relations Support: Supports fundraising efforts by managing donor communications, scheduling meetings, maintaining Customer Relations Management (CRM) records, and assisting with stewardship activities.
15% - Office Operations and Financial Administration: Maintains efficient office operations through records management, invoice processing, budget tracking, purchasing, and administrative workflow support.
10% - Project and Event Coordination: Assists with strategic initiatives, special projects, and the planning of donor, station, and community events.
