Help Build New York City’s First Children’s Science Museum

Complete Play Discovery is expanding from an inclusive playground into a landmark family destination in Lower Manhattan: a Children’s Science Museum, Inclusive School, Teen Innovation Lounge, Sports Center, and Parent Lounge — all under one roof.
We’re seeking an exceptionally organized, proactive, and mission-driven professional to work directly with our Founder & CEO as their right hand.
This is a hybrid role: roughly half executive support, half strategic projects. You’ll run the CEO’s day-to-day while also driving fundraising, partnerships, and project coordination on a transformative build.

    What You’ll Do:

    Executive Support
    • Coordinate the CEO’s priorities, meetings, and project follow-up.
    • Prepare presentations, proposals, and communications.
    • Assist with special projects and organizational coordination as needed.

    Strategic Projects
    • Support fundraising initiatives, prepare donor materials, conduct research, and assist with partnership and sponsorship opportunities.
    • Research prospective foundations, partners, sponsors, and community organizations, and help prepare outreach materials and follow-up communications.
    • Coordinate with architects, designers, consultants, vendors, and exhibit producers
    Who You Are

    • Exceptionally organized with sharp attention to detail
    • An outstanding written and verbal communicator
    • Strong in research, project management, and juggling multiple priorities
    • Experienced in nonprofit fundraising, partnerships, or donor relations (a significant plus)
    • Proficient with Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, presentation tools, and AI productivity tools
    • Energized by a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
    • Genuinely passionate about inclusion, children’s education, STEAM, and community impact
    Role Details

    • Hybrid NYC role with flexible schedule and some in-office days
    • Reports directly to the Founder & CEO
    • Occasional evening events, including donor gatherings and our annual gala
    • Salary: $70,000–$85,000 based on experience, plus performance bonus
    • Significant growth opportunities as the organization expands
    • Direct impact working alongside the Founder & CEO on a transformative project for children and families
    • Resume
    • Personalized cover letter explaining why this role and our mission excite you
    • Earliest start date
    • LinkedIn profile (preferred)
Apply on Carreerplug or send resume and cover letter to info@completeplayground.org

Only candidates who submit a thoughtful cover letter will be considered.
