Executive Assistant to the Vice President for Strategic Growth, Marketing and Communications

St. Ambrose University and Mount Mercy University seek an experienced, highly organized, and professional Executive Assistant to provide executive-level support to the Vice President for Strategic Growth, Marketing and Communications and operational support to the division's leadership team. Based primarily on the St. Ambrose University campus in Davenport, Iowa, this position works closely with leaders across both institutions and includes occasional travel to the Mount Mercy University campus in Cedar Rapids.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the Vice President's complex calendar, meetings, priorities, and communications.
• Provide administrative and operational support to division leadership.
• Coordinate strategic projects, track deadlines, and ensure timely follow-through.
• Prepare professional correspondence, reports, presentations, and briefing materials.
• Organize leadership meetings, retreats, campus visits, and special events.
• Support budget administration, purchasing processes, and vendor documentation.
• Coordinate travel arrangements and logistics.
• Maintain confidential records and handle sensitive information with discretion.
• Serve as a key liaison among university leaders, faculty, staff, students, vendors, and community partners.
• Maintain efficient office operations, records, procedures, and shared resources across the division.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent two-year degree required.
• Minimum of two years of relevant experience in executive support, administration, project coordination, or a related professional field.
• Ability to travel occasionally between campuses and other locations as needed.
