Executive Chef 1

Role Overview

Sodexo is seeking an Executive Chef 1 for potential new business in New Hampshire. In this hands-on culinary leadership role, the Executive Chef 1 will work closely with General Manager and oversee the hourly kitchen staff. This is a great opportunity to grow your culinary career!  We welcome candidates with backgrounds in senior living, healthcare, or restaurants who are passionate about high-quality food and service.

What You'll Do

• oversee the daily food production;
• assist with ordering and inventory management;
• train and mentor cooks;
• build strong client relationships while meeting the expectation of the client as well as Sodexo;
• a strong supervisory/management skillset.

• a background in food production with strong cooking skills;
• strong knowledge of safety and sanitation;
• knowledge of special diets is helpful;
• experience training and mentoring a culinary team with exceptional human resource and supervisory skillset;
• experience managing food costs and strong computer skills;

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experienceMinimum Management Experience - 2 years Minimum Functional Experience – 1 year work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
