Role Overview

In this role you will have the opportunity to partner with - GROWING PLACES: Fitchburg Public Market, Worcester Regional Food Hub & UMass Memorial Health tobring local start ups on site to provide fresh local dining options to our patients, visitors, and staff.

What You'll Do

• Lead day-to-day culinary operations across patient dining and retail
• Develop and execute seasonal and patient-focused menus
• Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
• Manage inventory, ordering, and food cost controls
• Coach, develop, and engage culinary team members
• Partner with clinical and operational leaders to enhance the patient and guest experience

• Culinary leadership experience in healthcare, campus, or high-volume food service
• Strong knowledge of food safety and regulatory compliance
• Experience with menu development and retail dining programs
• Proven leadership, team development, and operational skills
• Financial acumen with a focus on food and labor management

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experienceMinimum Management Experience - 2 yearsMinimum Functional Experience - 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
