Key responsibilities include managing daily food production, developing menus compliant with nutritional and regulatory standards, training staff in food safety and sanitation, maintaining cleanliness, managing inventory within budget, and ensuring compliance with health regulations.
Qualifications include an A.S. degree or equivalent experience, 3-5 years of culinary or management experience (preferably in healthcare or high-volume environments), strong knowledge of food trends, sanitation, and cost control, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and ServSafe certification is desirable.
