Come join our very small (to be grown) team at an iconic 100+ year old beautiful lodge that has the biggest private commercial kitchen in Albany county. Build your reputation and your internal spirit away from the dysfunction of this crazy world by retreating to the wilderness to serve our God-loving and adventurous guests. The owner, who desires to leave a legacy to those who love to serve, will release equity as the growth pays her investment back over the next 10 years. Phoenix at the Snowies restaurant is located at the Snowy Mountain Lodge, an iconic place people flock to go throughout SE Wyoming. We desire to continue to serve bible camps during the mid week in the summer, orchestrate Wyoming weddings on the weekends, serve "hungry man" breakfast and lunches to our loyal snowmobilers whom flock from several midwest states in January through mid April, and all other guests from Wyoming, Colorado, South Dakota, Utah and Idaho to play in the Snowy Range during the summer. We look forward to serving fine dining too! We have only a few rental cabins for our visiting guests and lots of trapper cabins for our employees. We can offer the one apartment upstairs in the lodge if the Executive Chef candidate has a family. Given the Snowy Mountain Lodge was owned 14 years by a local Laramie church, candidates that love to serve others and don't harbor any alcohol or drug addictions are encouraged to apply. The salary is "base". After gross revenue supports labor and food costs at under 30% each, the Executive Chef will manage both food cost and labor cost budget to ensure it does not exceed 30% of gross sales for each.
