An established and well-regarded full-service restaurant in the heart of East Aurora, NY is seeking an experienced and passionate Executive Chef to lead back-of-house operations. This is a confidential search for a key leadership role at one of the area's most popular dining destinations, known forits elevated pub fare, scratch kitchen, and vibrant local following.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage all kitchen operations, including daily service, prep, and production

- Develop and execute seasonal menus using fresh, high-quality ingredients

- Maintain a scratch kitchen culture and ensure consistent food quality and presentation

- Hire, train, and mentor BOH staff; foster a positive and professional kitchen environment

- Create and manage kitchen schedules to align with labor budgets and business needs

- Monitor food and labor costs to ensure profitability goals are met

- Ensure all kitchen operations comply with health, safety, and sanitation regulations

- Collaborate with FOH management to ensure smooth kitchen-to-dining room service

- Manage inventory, ordering, and vendor relationships

Qualifications:

- Minimum 5 years of kitchen leadership experience in a high-volume, scratch kitchen environment

- Proven ability to create and execute menus, including daily specials and seasonal offerings

- Strong knowledge of food cost management, labor controls, and BOH financials

- Excellent leadership, team-building, and communication skills

- ServSafe Certification or ability to obtain one quickly

- Passion for culinary excellence and commitment to guest satisfaction

- Able to lead by example in a fast-paced kitchen

- Thrives in a collaborative, team-focused restaurant environment

- Has experience managing a kitchen staff of 10+ in a high-volume setting
