Executive Chef — Luxury Senior Living | Calligraphy Westwood Village
We are seeking a dynamic, hospitality-driven Executive Chef to lead the culinary program at our premier luxury senior living community in Westwood Village. This role is ideal for a culinary professional who combines exceptional technical skill with a passion for service, leadership, and resident engagement. The Executive Chef will oversee all back-of-house operations, including menu development, production standards, team scheduling, food safety compliance, inventory management, and cost controls, while consistently delivering elevated, restaurant-quality dining experiences.
The successful candidate will bring a strong culinary pedigree, creativity in menu design, and the ability to craft innovative, seasonally inspired dishes that delight a discerning resident population. Equally important is a warm, highly personable presence — someone who enjoys interacting with residents, gathering feedback, accommodating dietary needs, and creating meaningful dining experiences. Your Role:
The Executive Chef oversees the culinary operations, including menu planning, food preparation, purchasing, and recipe development to ensure consistent quality and presentation. This role is responsible for estimating food needs, maintaining equipment, and ensuring compliance with safety and sanitation standards.
