We are seeking a dynamic and highly hands on Executive Chef to lead all culinary operations within a client facility. This role is ideal for a results-driven, creative, and operationally strong leader who is passionate about delivering exceptional dining experiences while developing high-performing teams. As Executive Chef, you will play a key role in elevating food quality, innovation, and guest satisfaction, working closely with hospitality leadership to drive a best-in-class culinary program.
What You’ll Do
- Lead all daily kitchen operations, ensuring top-tier food quality, consistency, and food safety standards
- Drive menu development utilizing current vendor partnerships while bringing fresh, innovative ideas to the program
- Oversee and execute special events and private dining experiences with a high level of detail and creativity
- Maintain a strong presence on the line, actively cooking and supporting expo during high-volume service periods
- Recruit, develop, train, and inspire a high-performing culinary team
- Manage production, inventory, sourcing, and cost controls to ensure operational efficiency
- Partner with client teams and cross-functional leadership to deliver an outstanding hospitality experience
- Stay ahead of culinary trends and continuously enhance the program with new concepts and offerings
Role Structure
- Highly hands-on leadership role with active involvement in daily service
- Approximately 10 hours per week dedicated to administrative responsibilities, including:
- Ordering and inventory management
- Scheduling and labor planning
- Leadership collaboration and operational strategy
What We’re Looking For
- 7+ years of culinary experience, including 3+ years in a leadership role (Executive Chef or Senior Sous Chef level)
- Strong culinary foundation with knowledge of diverse cuisines (ACF/CIA preferred)
- Proven ability to lead teams, drive performance, and execute in high-volume environments
- Experience with menu development, cost control, and special event execution
- ServSafe certification and strong food safety knowledge
- Creative, adaptable, and guest-focused with a passion for hospitality
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
