Job Summary
As Executive Chef at NVIDIA, you will lead culinary operations within a fast-paced, innovation-driven corporate dining environment known for excellence, creativity, and elevated hospitality experiences. This role is responsible for overseeing kitchen operations, inspiring culinary teams, and delivering exceptional food programs that support NVIDIA's culture of collaboration and forward-thinking innovation. The ideal candidate is a hands-on culinary leader with a passion for hospitality, operational excellence, and modern food trends.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead all back-of-house culinary operations while maintaining a safe, clean, and highly organized kitchen environment
- Develop and execute innovative, seasonal, and globally inspired menus aligned with NVIDIA's dining and wellness initiatives
- Prepare and oversee high-quality food production in accordance with company standards, recipes, and presentation guidelines
- Ensure consistency, quality, and excellence across all meal periods, catering events, and specialty culinary offerings
- Train, mentor, and develop kitchen staff in food preparation techniques, culinary execution, sanitation, safety standards, and equipment operation
- Partner with operations and hospitality leadership to deliver exceptional guest experiences across dining services
- Manage food and labor costs through inventory control, purchasing oversight, waste reduction, and production planning
- Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local food safety and sanitation regulations
- Establish and enforce cleaning, maintenance, and operational procedures for kitchen and storage areas
- Drive innovation by introducing new culinary concepts, food trends, and sustainable practices into the dining program
- Support high-profile events, executive dining, and catering initiatives within a dynamic corporate campus environment
- Utilize operational reporting tools, production systems, and culinary technology platforms to support efficient kitchen management
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate degree in Culinary Arts or equivalent culinary training and professional experience
- 3–5 years of progressive culinary leadership experience in high-volume foodservice, corporate dining, hospitality, or upscale catering environments
- Hands-on chef leadership experience with strong culinary and operational expertise
- Experience managing complex, high-volume kitchen operations with multiple service platforms
- Extensive catering and special events experience preferred
- Strong understanding of global cuisine trends, wellness-focused dining, sustainability, and modern hospitality concepts
- Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop diverse culinary teams
- Comprehensive knowledge of food safety, sanitation, production systems, food cost controls, and kitchen operations
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, inventory systems, and culinary management software
- ServSafe Certification preferred
- Passion for innovation, hospitality excellence, and creating memorable dining experiences within a technology-focused environment
