Black Family Hospitality (BFH) is the family-owned company behind Terry Black's BBQ, one of Texas' most recognized barbecue brands, with locations in Austin, Dallas, Lockhart, Waco, and Fort Worth. As we continue to grow, we're looking for an experienced Executive Chef to lead kitchen operations at our Waco location.
What You'll Do
- Lead all kitchen operations, ensuring exceptional food quality and consistency
- Manage, train, coach, and develop kitchen staff
- Oversee scheduling, performance management, and team culture
- Maintain food safety, sanitation, and inventory standards
- Ensure recipe execution, portion control, and allergy accommodations
- Drive operational efficiency and cost management
- Collaborate on menu development and culinary innovation
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of Executive Chef experience
- Strong steak and seafood background required
- Experience leading teams in high-volume, full-service restaurants
- Food Manager Certification required
- Spanish language skills preferred
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
Compensation & Benefits
- $85,000 $95,000 annually
