Job Description
As the Executive Communications Specialist, you'll be responsible for supporting communications, events, and other engagements for the Best Buy CEO and other members of the senior leadership team. In this role, you'll plan and bring employee engagement initiatives to life, craft compelling communications and leadership messaging, prepare speakers for key engagements, support impactful live events, and help ensure important information reaches employees at every level of the organization. You'll also coordinate the logistics that make these experiences seamless and successful.
This role is hybrid, which means you will be required to work on site Monday through Thursday at the Best Buy corporate office in Richfield, Minnesota. You can work virtually from home or another non Best Buy location on Friday. The recruiter or hiring manager will provide more details during the hiring process.

What you'll do
- Plan, write and execute daily and weekly employee engagement briefings for top executives, including the CEO.
- Effectively execute on timely opportunities for executive employee engagement, which may include anything from drafting a leader note or composing a post for LinkedIn.
- Provide support for executives and other leaders for internal enterprise events and meetings.
- Partner with cross functional leaders to develop topics and agendas for enterprise events.
- Create visually engaging PowerPoint decks for various events and audiences.
- Prepare and present briefing documents, speaking notes and/or speeches for officer- and executive-level leaders participating in these events.
