ABOUT THE ROLE

This Executive Director opportunity offers senior leadership of the Portfolio Management, Project Finance, Municipal Finance, and Structured Agency functions at a well-established global financial institution. The role carries a broad and high-impact mandate overseeing a complex Americas portfolio of structured lending products, driving capital optimization strategies, leading agency execution, and developing a team of portfolio management and credit professionals. As a senior member of the Credit Portfolio Management leadership team, this leader will partner closely with Origination, Risk Management, Capital Markets, Legal, and Executive Management to optimize portfolio performance while maintaining rigorous risk governance and regulatory compliance. It's the right seat for an accomplished structured finance executive with 15+ years of project finance, municipal finance, or structured lending experience who combines deep credit expertise with proven team leadership and the strategic vision to drive sustainable business growth.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead oversight of a complex portfolio of project finance, municipal finance, and structured credit transactions across the Americas;monitor portfolio performance and identify emerging risks, concentration exposures, and remediation strategies
• Establish portfolio strategies focused on capital optimization including asset sales, risk-transfer transactions, syndications, and securitizations to enhance capital efficiency, liquidity, and asset quality preservation
• Oversee annual reviews, portfolio ratings, regulatory classifications, and internal credit assessments
• Develop and deliver portfolio reporting and strategic recommendations to senior management and governance committees
• Drive product strategy and lifecycle management across project finance, municipal finance, and structured lending products
• Lead assessments of transaction performance, covenant compliance, and borrower financial condition;evaluate market trends and recommend risk mitigation structures and management practices
• Ensure compliance with all internal credit policies, regulatory requirements, and governance standards
• Present portfolio reviews, risk assessments, and strategic initiatives to senior management and credit committees;support new business initiatives across covered product lines
• Serve as senior sponsor for all agency functions related to structured syndicated financings;oversee administrative agent responsibilities, lender communications, consent solicitations, amendment processes, covenant administration, and compliance monitoring
• Manage interactions with borrowers, sponsors, lender groups, legal counsel, consultants, and external stakeholders;ensure high-quality execution and operational excellence across all agency transactions
• Lead, mentor, and develop portfolio management, agency, and credit professionals;foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
• Strengthen organizational capabilities to enable sustainable business growth;support succession planning, recruiting, and talent development initiatives
• Drive process improvements across portfolio management and agency functions
