    About this role:

    Wells Fargo is seeking an Equity Derivative Flow Sales Trader in Wells Fargo Securities. The group is a flow derivative sales team catering to hedge funds, asset managers, and mutual funds in all things equity derivatives (options/swaps/variance/light exotics).     In this role, you will have:

    Proven ability to originate, grow, and retain a client franchise that would be additive to Wells Fargo’s existing portfolio, supported by deep expertise across the derivatives landscape and strong relationship management skills. Demonstrated success in building, maintaining, and expanding trusted partnerships with sophisticated hedge funds and asset management clients.

    Required Qualifications:

    • 7+ years of Securities Sales Trading experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

    Desired Qualifications:

    • 10+ years direct equity derivatives experience - listed & OTC options, ETF's, cash equities and swaps.
    • 10+ years experience in all aspects of the sales process from product development to execution.
    • High level of understanding option theory.
    • Experience in delivering product presentations, dealing with Hedge funds/mutual funds and developing new growth opportunities.
    • Instrumental in developing bespoke funded equity derivative solutions.
    • Team-oriented mindset and work in close partnership with the various businesses in the Equities division.
    • Energetic self-starter who is detail oriented while possessing excellent communication and presentation skills.
    • Candidate must be an individual who demonstrates a sense of personal accountability and urgency for achieving results.

    Job Expectations:

    • Up to 10% travel
    • Registration for FINRA Series 7 must be completed within 180 days of hire date if it is not available for transfer upon hire. FINRA recognized equivalents will be accepted.
    • Registration for FINRA Series 63 must be completed within 180 days of hire date if it is not available for transfer upon hire. FINRA recognized equivalents will be accepted.
    • Registration for FINRA Series 57 must be completed within 180 days of hire date if it is not available for transfer upon hire. FINRA recognized equivalents will be accepted.
    • This position is subject to FINRA background screening requirements. Candidates must successfully complete and pass a background check prior to hire. In accordance with FINRA rules, individuals who are subject to statutory disqualification are not eligible to be associated with a FINRA-registered broker-dealer. Successful candidates must also meet and comply with ongoing regulatory obligations, which include periodic screening and mandatory reporting of certain incidents.
    • Specific compliance policies may apply regarding outside activities or personal investing; affected employees will be expected to provide information to the Wells Fargo Personal Account Dealing Team and abide by applicable policy requirements if hired. Information will be shared about expectations during the recruitment process.
    • This position is subject to Dodd-Frank Background Screening Requirements, including successful completion and clearing of a background screen. Applicants are subject to a new screen to comply with Title VII of the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act which states that Associated Persons (AP) cannot be subject to statutory disqualification. Under industry regulations, an AP is defined as a team member who solicits or accepts client orders for swaps. Successful candidates must also meet ongoing regulatory requirements including additional screening and are required to report certain incidents.

    Pay Range
     

    Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance, skills, experience, or work location. Employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities.

    $215,000.00 - $355,000.00
