Position: Executive Director

Location: Fargo, North Dakota

Type of Position: Direct Hire, Full Time

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm

Compensation: $100, 000 - $130, 000 DOE

Preference Employment Solutions is confidentially recruiting for an Executive Director to lead operations in a local faith-based organization in Fargo, North Dakota. Additional specific details about this opportunity will be shared with potentially qualified applicants upon a review of each resume. This position will require a high level of financial acumen stemming from previous accounting management and leadership positions. Additionally, the Executive Director will oversee daily operations, facilities management, childcare, human resources, and information technology.

Position Overview:

Complete the annual budget for the organization

Administer financial operations and oversee the accounting team

Support donor expansion and gift giving foundation management

Support and uphold the mission following the church constitution and by laws

Develop and implement goals, strategies, workflow, and processes while driving the vision and mission alongside operational staff

Lead contract approval and any legal matters

Report at all council meetings

Characteristics of a Successful Candidate:

Bachelor s degree in Finance or related field

Extensive knowledge in non-profit business operations and financial oversight

Excellent conflict resolution skills

Proven ability to build and maintain collaborative relationships

Ability to manage multiple competing tasks/demands, problem solve, and work well under pressure
