Executive Director for Non Profit

GNR has been retained by a highly reputable 50+ year-old non-profit organization in need of an Executive Director that finds satisfaction improving the quality of life for individuals & the community.  

You will play a meaningful role in this organization that provides significant benefits to the community and its members, providing adults with developmental disabilities with job / life skills in manufacturing, parts assembly, as well as retail store stocking and customer service experiences, in addition to daily in-house programs.

Due to a pending retirement, we’re looking for a leader experienced in Social Services / Adult Care Services / Rehabilitation Center / Day Treatment Programs with a sound business acumen.

Reporting to the Board of Directors and leading a staff of approx. 40 with 5-7 direct reports, you will play a hands-on role directly managing all aspects of the business while interacting with families, community leaders, government officials, and companies to raise community awareness. 

EXPERIENCE and REQUIREMENTS:

• 8+ years of proven leadership experience in a Social Services environment + Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Able to lead people and manage budgetary responsibilities while making sound business decisions to maintain the health of the business.
• Ensure certifications & compliance's are met with understanding of various agencies and standards with DDS, ARS, OSHA, and DOL.
• Comfortable working with individuals who require assistance with daily living needs and/or job training setting.
• Collaborate with personnel on program needs and customer requirements
• Must be trustworthy, honest, and of the highest ethical integrity.  
• Able to pass background check & Drug Screening
