Homewood Living Frederick is seeking an Executive Director to provide visionary leadership and operational oversight, ensuring the fulfillment of the organization’s mission through excellence in care, service, and stewardship. Located less than an hour from Washington, DC; Annapolis; and Baltimore, Homewood Living Frederick is a vibrant Life Plan Community serving more than 700 residents and employing a dedicated team of more than 300 professionals.
As the community’s chief executive leader, the Executive Director reports to the Homewood Living Ministries' Chief Operating Officer and serves as a visible ambassador of the organization’s ministry and values. This role fosters meaningful relationships with residents, families, staff, and community partners, while advancing the long-term sustainability and ministry impact of the organization.
As directed by Homewood Living Ministries, the Executive Director provides overall leadership and operational oversight for the community’s ministry. This role is responsible for advancing the organization’s mission through the achievement of strategic objectives, financial targets, high levels of resident and co-worker satisfaction, and full regulatory compliance. The Executive Director ensures the delivery of high-quality, mission-aligned services while strengthening the organization’s financial sustainability and long-term strategic goals.
Working conditions are normal for an office environment. Work requires extensive work using a computer. This position has physical and mental aspects of sedentary work in which lifting requirements are minimal. Occasionally required to walk; use hands to finger, handle, or operate computers, objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
