Position Summary
The Executive Director serves as the senior administrative leader of the Institute for Safe Patient Care and Patient Empowerment, co-leading with the Faculty Director.
The Executive Director is responsible for operationalizing the Institutes mission to shift culture and educate other medical centers in New York State and nationally on best practices to detect, prevent and report sexual abuse. Reporting to the Weill Cornell Medicine Executive Vice Provost / Chief Operating Officer, the Executive Director oversees and implements strategy, operations, finances, partnerships, compliance reporting, staffing, communications, and organizational development.
The Executive Director will build and scale a nationally recognized institute that serves as a leading resource within the healthcare community, including patient safety organizations, regulators, accrediting agencies, and law enforcement to address detection, prevention and reporting of sexual misconduct in the healthcare setting.
