Responsible for providing executive leadership, strategic direction, operational oversight, financial stewardship, quality performance, workforce development, and growth initiatives for Laboratory and Imaging Services across Merrimack Health. Leads the integration of laboratory, imaging, and outreach services to achieve excellence in patient care, regulatory compliance, employee engagement, innovation, service line growth, and fiscal performance. Partners with physicians, executive leadership, and community stakeholders to advance organizational priorities and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care across the continuum.
EDUCATION AND RELATED EXPERIENCE:
Master's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Public Health, Clinical Laboratory Science, Radiologic Sciences, Nursing, or a related healthcare field.
Minimum of ten (10) years of progressive healthcare leadership experience, including responsibility for laboratory and/or imaging operations, quality, financial management, regulatory compliance, and workforce leadership.
Minimum of five (5) years in a senior leadership role with responsibility for strategic planning, budget management, program development, and organizational performance.
Current board certification or professional credential in a relevant clinical, operational, or healthcare leadership discipline, as applicable.
Demonstrated experience leading regulatory and accreditation readiness activities, including CAP, ACR, CLIA, DPH, CMS, and The Joint Commission standards.
Demonstrated success in strategic planning, service line growth, operational improvement, physician collaboration, and change management initiatives.
Preferred:
Fellowship or advanced leadership designation such as FACHE, FAAPM, FACMPE, or other relevant professional credential.
Certification in Lean, Six Sigma, Healthcare Quality, Project Management, or related performance improvement methodologies.
Experience within an integrated health system or multi-site healthcare organization.
Experience leading laboratory outreach, imaging growth strategies, ambulatory operations, and value-based care initiatives.
Active participation in professional organizations such as ACHE, ASCP, AHRA, RBMA, ACR, CAP, or other relevant industry associations.
