Executive Director  Opportunity Description

SimiTree Talent Solutions is a leading search firm for the Behavioral / Mental Health industry. Our client is looking for a full-time, on-site Executive Director for a high acuity Psychiatric & Substance Abuse inpatient facility in the Grinnell, Iowa area.  
 

Executive Director Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Three to five years of senior management experience required.
• Strong ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and manage time effectively.
• Proven ability to lead, motivate, and hold teams accountable for high-quality clinical services.

Executive Director Job Responsibilities

• Manage facility operations, the operating budget, payroll review, purchasing, census reporting, and expense controls.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, accreditation, safety, infection-control, medication-management, and HR requirements.
• Oversee staffing, employee training, competency reviews, performance improvement, and recruitment activities.
• Maintain a safe, well-functioning facility by overseeing vendors, repairs, technology, emergency preparedness, and incident follow-up.
