The Executive Director of Corporate and Foundation Relations (CFR) is a fundraising professional within the Office of Institutional Advancement responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive corporate and foundation relations program to advance Temple University's institutional priorities. The Executive Director oversees a program portfolio of corporate and foundation grantmaking prospects and partners through the full donor lifecycle, including identification, qualification, cultivation, solicitation, stewardship, and renewal.
Working collaboratively with university leadership, faculty, academic and administrative units, and advancement colleagues, the Executive Director matches philanthropic grant opportunities with university strategic priorities, develops compelling funding opportunities, and prepares competitive proposals. The Executive Director is also responsible for timely stewardship, reporting, and compliance with funder requirements.
The position serves as a key liaison between external funding organizations and internal stakeholders, and provides strategic guidance regarding institutional funding priorities, proposal development, prospect strategy, and relationship management. Performs other duties as assigned.
Travel disclosure: Travel is required to cultivate, solicit, and steward corporate and foundation partners, represent the university at meetings and events, and advance Institutional Advancement priorities. Travel will primarily occur throughout the Greater Philadelphia region, with occasional statewide and national travel as needed. The position requires flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and occasional overnight travel in support of donor engagement and university events.

This position is assigned a hybrid work arrangement (on-campus and remote), the duration of this hybrid work arrangement is at the discretion of Temple University and the Department.
