Position: Executive Director (Part-time) at the Tomorrow River Community Charter Schools

The Tomorrow River Community Charter Schools are looking for a resourceful and charismatic Executive Director to support the growth and success of the Tomorrow River Community Charter Schools. To be successful as our Executive Director you must have experience with strategic leadership, community engagement, fundraising, communications, and organizational development. An efficient Executive Director will plan initiatives in advance, manage multiple tasks at once, and collaborate between multiple committees and groups.

The Executive Director of the Tomorrow River Community Charter Schools (TRCCS) will collaborate with our school community to execute a plan that ensures the financial and physical viability of both our onsite and virtual schools. The position reports directly to the Principal and works closely with the TRCCS Governance Board. The position is currently part time with potential to grow.

Duties:

Collaborate with the Principal and Governance Board to implement the school''s strategic plan and organizational priorities.

Recommend initiatives that support the long-term sustainability and growth of TRCCS.

Help identify opportunities that strengthen the school''s mission, enrollment, and community impact.

Serve as a liaison between the Principal and Governance Board on outreach, fundraising, development, and strategic initiatives.

Attend Governance Board meetings and provide regular updates on outreach, enrollment, fundraising, and partnership efforts.

Assist with Governance Board committees and initiatives as assigned.

Engage with surrounding and greater community members to promote TRCCS

Collaborate with colleagues and manage volunteer teams to create and implement a TRCCS growth strategy

Assist in planning, managing, and promoting school and fundraising events

Execute marketing campaigns that advertise the onsite and virtual schools

Be a public face for TRCCS at local and online events

Manage all aspects of donor prospecting, cultivation, stewardship, and appreciation

Recruit students and community partners

Procure and manage grants

Execute print and social media outreach

Maintain the TRCCS website(s) and social media accounts

Coordinate and gather support for site improvements and expansion needs

Other duties as assigned by the School Administrator and the TRCCS Governance Board

Qualifications:

  • Experience in strategic planning, community development, event/project management, finance, or another relevant field
  • Proficiency with Google Workspaces, Windows Operating Systems, and Social Media
  • Prior experience with event planning and fundraising
  • Excellent networking skills
  • Good knowledge of marketing strategies
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Familiarity with Waldorf schools is desired
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to lead and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Favorable Background Check

Start Date: As soon as possible

Contract/Salary: Up to 20hrs/weekk at $23.87 per hour. This is a Year Round Position
