Description

The Commercial team at EyePoint focuses on bringing innovative therapies to patients by ensuring healthcare providers, partners, and communities have access to treatment, reimbursement, and are able to use the product appropriately. This team uses data-driven insights, market access strategies, and a patient-centric approach to improve awareness, access, and adoption of EyePoint's therapies to help improve vision outcomes for people with serious retinal diseases.

The Executive Director, Lead Peer-to-Peer Marketing will architect and lead the national peer-to-peer marketing strategy for DURAVYU. This leader designs speaker programs, manages the KOL speaker bureau and advocacy network, creates scalable P2P programming across live, virtual, and digital formats, and ensures P2P activities are strategically integrated with HCP marketing, field marketing, and Medical Affairs engagement.

EyePoint is building its commercial infrastructure to support the anticipated launch of DURAVYU for wet AMD. Peer-to-peer engagement is critical to building clinical conviction among retina specialists, given that TKIs represent a novel class requiring physician education and comfort-building through trusted peer channels.

Reporting to the VP, Head of Marketing, this role will partner closely with Field Marketing, HCP Marketing, Medical Affairs, Sales, Legal, and Compliance.

Key Responsibilities

National Peer-to-Peer Strategy

  • Develop and execute high-impact, compliant peer-to-peer marketing programs for DURAVYU.
  • Set the strategic vision for KOL-led education, clinical discussion, and advocacy through P2P channels.
  • Align P2P program objectives with brand goals, launch milestones, and sales force priorities.
  • Design P2P programming that builds clinical conviction around DURAVYU''s MOA, durability, safety, and real-world applicability.
  • Develop annual P2P plans with clearly defined objectives, budgets, and performance targets.

Speaker Bureau & Advocacy Network

  • Build and manage the KOL speaker bureau infrastructure for DURAVYU.
  • Identify, recruit, train, and engage a national speaker faculty of retina opinion leaders.
  • Deliver compliant, high-impact scientific and clinical speaker programming.
  • Coordinate speaker training, content development, and ongoing faculty management.
  • Ensure speaker bureau compliance with all regulatory and company policies.

P2P Programming Across Formats

  • Design and execute peer-to-peer programs across live, virtual, and digital formats.
  • Create scalable P2P programs including dinner programs, virtual roundtables, webinar series, and congress-adjacent events.
  • Innovate formats to maximize physician engagement, learning, and clinical conviction.
  • Evaluate program performance through attendance, engagement, and prescriber behavior data.
  • Continuously refine programming based on insights and feedback.

Integration with HCP & Field Marketing

  • Ensure P2P programs are strategically coordinated with field sales priorities, HCP marketing campaigns, and Medical Affairs scientific engagement.
  • Collaborate with Field Marketing on KOL engagement and advocacy alignment.
  • Ensure unified messaging across promotional and P2P channels.
  • Drive cross-functional synergies to maximize the impact of peer-to-peer investment.

Required Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor''s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.

Experience

  • 12+ years of pharmaceutical or biotechnology peer-to-peer marketing, speaker program management, or HCP engagement experience.
  • Demonstrated success building and managing speaker bureaus and P2P programs.
  • Experience with KOL identification, engagement, and faculty development.
  • Strong compliance knowledge related to speaker programs and HCP interactions.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing P2P vendors and agencies.

Knowledge & Capabilities

  • Knowledge of retina disease space, HCP engagement models, and specialty pharma marketing.
  • Expertise in P2P program design, execution, and measurement.
  • Strong project management, communication, and relationship management skills.
  • Analytical mindset with ability to optimize programs based on data.
  • Ability to operate in a fast-growing biotechnology environment.

Preferred Experience

  • Ophthalmology or retinal disease market experience.
  • Experience with buy-and-bill and physician-administered therapeutics.
  • Biotechnology launch experience within a pre-commercial or emerging-growth organization.
  • Digital P2P and virtual engagement program experience.

Success Measures

  • Speaker bureau development, faculty quality, and engagement.
  • P2P program reach, attendance, and physician satisfaction.
  • Clinical conviction and adoption influence attributable to P2P programs.
  • Compliance record and regulatory adherence.
  • Integration effectiveness with HCP, field marketing, and Medical Affairs.
