Job Title: Executive Driver to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

 

Position Summary

 

The Executive Driver is responsible for providing safe, reliable, and discreet transportation for the Chief Executive Officer (CEO). This role requires exceptional professionalism, punctuality, confidentiality, and flexibility. The Executive Driver serves as a trusted representative of the organization and ensures that all transportation needs are handled efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of safety and service.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 
  • Safely transport the CEO to meetings, appointments, airports, corporate events, and other destinations.
  • Plan the most efficient travel routes, considering traffic, weather, and scheduling changes.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality regarding all business and personal matters involving the CEO.
  • Ensure the assigned vehicle is clean, fueled, serviced, and maintained in excellent operating condition.
  • Perform regular vehicle inspections and coordinate routine maintenance and repairs.
  • Monitor traffic and road conditions to minimize delays.
  • Assist with loading and unloading luggage, packages, or business materials as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel usage, maintenance, and travel logs, including EZ Pass records.
  • Remain flexible to accommodate changes in schedules, including early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and occasional holidays.
  • Provide exceptional customer service with a courteous, professional, and respectful demeanor.
  • Support other executive transportation needs when requested.
  • Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations.

 

Qualifications:

 
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional driving experience, preferably supporting senior executives or VIP clients.
  • Defensive driving certification is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of local roads, highways, and airport routes.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and respond effectively to changing priorities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High level of integrity, discretion, and professionalism.
  • Ability to pass background checks, motor vehicle record checks, and drug screening.

 

Preferred Skills:

 
  • Experience driving luxury or executive vehicles.
  • Familiarity with GPS navigation and traffic monitoring applications.
  • Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge.
  • CPR and First Aid certification is a plus.

 

Physical Requirements:

 
  • Ability to sit and drive for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds when handling luggage or packages.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and occasional overnight travel.

This position requires frequent travel within the local area and occasional long-distance trips. The Executive Driver must maintain a polished appearance and be available to support the CEO's dynamic and changing schedule.

 

Location:

 

Preferably resides in the Bronx. Daily pickup and drop-off will be in the Bronx, NY. The role requires driving throughout all five boroughs on a weekly basis, with occasional day trips, weekend travel, and business travel to upstate New York and out-of-state locations as needed.
