Hotel Equities, a multi-award-winning hotel development and hospitality management company, is seeking an experienced and service-driven Executive Housekeeper to lead our housekeeping team.

As Executive Housekeeper, you will oversee all housekeeping and laundry operations, ensuring guest rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house areas consistently meet Hotel Equities and brand standards for cleanliness, safety, and presentation.
Job Purpose
The Executive Housekeeper is responsible for planning, directing, and managing the daily operations of the Housekeeping Department. This leader ensures exceptional cleanliness throughout the hotel while maintaining labor productivity, inventory controls, and departmental budgets. The Executive Housekeeper develops and coaches a high-performing team that delivers outstanding service and creates memorable guest experiences.
What You'll Do
Lead, supervise, schedule, and motivate the housekeeping and laundry teams.
Ensure guest rooms, public areas, meeting spaces, and back-of-house areas consistently meet Hotel Equities and brand cleanliness standards.
Conduct daily room inspections and quality assurance audits to maintain exceptional presentation.
Develop staffing schedules that maximize productivity while meeting business demands.
Recruit, onboard, train, coach, and evaluate housekeeping associates.
Foster a culture focused on teamwork, accountability, safety, and guest satisfaction.
Manage department labor costs, operating expenses, and inventory within budget guidelines.
Order and maintain housekeeping supplies, linens, amenities, and cleaning equipment.
Coordinate preventative maintenance needs with the Engineering Department and promptly report maintenance deficiencies.
Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, hotel safety policies, chemical handling procedures, and brand standards.
Respond professionally and promptly to guest requests, concerns, and service recovery opportunities.
Monitor lost and found procedures and ensure proper documentation.
Maintain accurate departmental records, reports, inventories, and payroll documentation.
Support hotel initiatives, inspections, and brand quality assurance programs.
Perform other duties as assigned by hotel leadership.
Qualifications & Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Previous housekeeping leadership experience in a hotel environment required.
Executive Housekeeper or Assistant Executive Housekeeper preferred.
Experience with Marriott, Hilton, Hyatt, IHG, Wyndham, or other major hotel brands preferred.
Strong leadership, coaching, and team-building abilities.
Excellent organizational, planning, and time management skills.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and hotel property management systems is preferred.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
Physical Requirements
This position requires the ability to:
Walk and stand for extended periods throughout the workday.
Frequently bend, stoop, kneel, reach, climb stairs, and occasionally use ladders.
Lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 pounds.
Inspect guest rooms and public spaces throughout the property.
Safely operate housekeeping equipment and cleaning machinery.
Work with approved commercial cleaning chemicals while following safety protocols.
Occasionally assist housekeeping staff with room cleaning as business demands require.
