Executive Housekeeper – UHNW Private Family | Ridgefield, CT
A warm and busy UHNW family of five in Ridgefield, CT is seeking an experienced, hands-on Executive Housekeeper to join their household team. This role requires a proactive professional who takes pride in maintaining a beautifully organized home while working collaboratively with another housekeeper.
Responsibilities:
Perform detailed daily housekeeping, including care of fine furnishings and high-end finishes
Laundry, ironing, pressing, and wardrobe care
Deep cleaning and organization projects
Maintain household inventories, including cleaning supplies, toiletries, and household essentials
Work closely with the existing housekeeper to ensure the home operates efficiently
Anticipate household needs and take initiative with minimal supervision
Ideal Candidate:
Cheerful, pleasant, and easygoing with a positive, team-oriented attitude
Self-starter with excellent attention to detail
Able to "read the room" and adapt to the family's routines and preferences
High-energy and comfortable working in a multi-level home with numerous stairs
Requirements:
5+ years of experience working as an Executive Housekeeper in UHNW private residences
Clean background check
Verifiable professional references
Flexibility with working weekends
Additional Details:
Busy household with a medium-sized Golden Retriever (no pet care responsibilities)
No cooking required; the family employs a private chef
Schedule:
Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM
Flexibility to work every other weekend (approximately 9:00 AM–2:00 PM), with two weekdays adjusted in exchange
Compensation & Benefits:
$50+ per hour, depending on experience
Health and dental insurance (employer covers approximately 75–80% of premiums)
