The successful candidate will take ownership of a portfolio of five residences, ensuring each home is maintained in pristine, guest-ready condition at all times.
The principals, who maintain demanding professional schedules and travel frequently, require a trusted individual who operates with discretion, autonomy, and an unwavering commitment to excellence.
Position Overview
This role extends well beyond traditional housekeeping. It requires a professional who can oversee all aspects of residential care, establishing systems, maintaining consistency across properties, and executing with precision.
A deep understanding of formal housekeeping practices is essential, particularly in the care of fine materials and high-value finishes. The ideal candidate takes pride in meticulous work and understands the importance of preventative care and long-term maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the full housekeeping operations across five private residences
- Maintain each property to impeccable, estate-level standards, ensuring readiness at all times
- Execute both daily upkeep and comprehensive, scheduled deep cleaning programs
- Provide expert care for fine materials and finishes, including:
- Silver and specialty metal polishing
- Chandeliers and delicate fixtures
- Marble, natural stone, and wood flooring
- Develop and maintain household systems, inventories, and organizational standards
- Manage all laundry and wardrobe care with attention to detail
- Coordinate and supervise vendors, service providers, and maintenance work
- Anticipate household needs and ensure seamless day-to-day operations
- Assist with errands, light kitchen support, and preparation for occasional gatherings
- Uphold a calm, orderly, and highly professional household environment
Qualifications
- Extensive experience in private estates, luxury residences, or formal hospitality environments
- Demonstrated ability to manage and maintain multiple properties simultaneously
- Advanced knowledge of deep cleaning techniques and care of fine surfaces, furnishings, and materials
- Highly organized, systems-oriented, and capable of working independently with minimal oversight
- Strong leadership instincts with a proactive, solution-driven mindset

Schedule
Full-time, Monday through Friday, with flexibility for occasional events
Typical hours: 7:30 AM 3:30 PM or 9:00 AM 5:00 PM
Compensation & Benefits
- $35$50 per hour, commensurate with experience
