What You’ll Be Doing
- Team Leadership – Interview, hire, train, and coach housekeeping staff; hold team members accountable to standards; motivate and inspire excellence.
- Daily Operations – Schedule staff based on hotel occupancy, assign housekeeping tasks, and ensure shifts are always covered fairly.
- Room & Public Area Oversight – Inspect all rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness and quality meet or exceed standards; address issues promptly.
- Guest Experience – Greet guests warmly, respond to special requests, and ensure every room is ready for a perfect stay.
- Inventory & Ordering – Accurately forecast occupancies, order supplies, manage deliveries, and maintain stock levels within budget.
- Safety & Compliance – Maintain safety standards, update Safety Data Sheets, and ensure housekeeping operations comply with company policies.
- Administration & Reporting – Audit and approve payroll, maintain records, hold monthly department meetings, and participate in management meetings.
- Special Projects & Continuous Improvement – Develop deep clean programs, track performance metrics, and push your team to take One More Step every day.
Who You Are
- Experienced & Knowledgeable – Minimum of 2 years in a housekeeping management role with a strong understanding of housekeeping and laundry operations.
- A Leader & Mentor – Skilled at coaching, developing, and motivating teams while maintaining accountability and high standards.
- Guest-Focused & Detail-Oriented – Passionate about delivering clean, comfortable, and safe environments for every guest.
- Flexible & Resilient – Ready to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed, while thriving in a fast-paced environment.
- Physically Capable – Comfortable lifting over 30 pounds, standing for long periods, and navigating a variety of work environments safely.
- Tech & Process Savvy – Proficient in basic computer use, record keeping, and following structured housekeeping processes.
