Executive Housekeeper

Holiday Inn Express Topeka North is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Head Housekeeper to lead our housekeeping team and ensure our hotel maintains the highest standards of cleanliness, guest satisfaction, and brand compliance.

The ideal candidate is a strong leader with extensive hotel housekeeping experience and a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, train, and motivate the housekeeping staff.
• Inspect guest rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness standards are met.
• Create daily work assignments and manage team productivity.
• Maintain inventory of housekeeping supplies and linens.
• Ensure compliance with IHG brand standards and hotel policies.
• Assist with cleaning guest rooms and public areas when needed.
• Coordinate with Front Desk and Maintenance departments to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Address guest requests and resolve housekeeping-related concerns promptly.
• Monitor staff performance and provide coaching as needed.

Qualifications

Required Experience

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Head Housekeeper in a hotel environment, OR
• Minimum 3 years of hotel housekeeping experience with demonstrated leadership abilities.
• Continuous hotel experience is required. Candidates without recent and consistent hotel housekeeping experience will not be considered.

• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, push, and pull throughout a shift.
• Reliable transportation and strong attendance record.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
