Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all housekeeping operations, including cleaning processes, inventory management, and staff scheduling.
- Train, motivate, and lead a team of housekeeping staff to provide outstanding cleanliness and customer service.
- Develop and implement efficient housekeeping policies and procedures to enhance overall operations.
- Conduct regular inspections of all areas to ensure adherence to cleanliness and quality standards.
- Manage budgets, control expenses, and order housekeeping supplies and equipment as needed.
- Collaborate with other department heads to ensure seamless communication and operations.
- Address guest queries and complaints in a professional and timely manner to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Prepare regular reports on department performance and present them to senior management.
- Maintain a safe and healthy environment for guests and staff by ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Housekeeping Manager or similar role within the hospitality industry.
- Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to inspire and develop staff.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to high standards of cleanliness.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in housekeeping software and Microsoft Office Suite is preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in hospitality management are a plus.
