What you may own

• Lead senior and executive searches from market mapping through accepted offer.
• Own strategy, operating cadence, and measurable outcomes for the assigned function.
• Translate executive priorities into clear plans, owners, timelines, and decision points.
• Build repeatable systems that improve speed, quality, accountability, and risk management.
• Coordinate high-stakes work across leaders, teams, and external partners.
• Surface risks early and provide concise recommendations supported by evidence.
• Develop team capability through hiring, coaching, documentation, and performance management.

What we are looking for

• Substantial experience leading the relevant operating, legal, people, or executive function.
• Strong judgment, discretion, and written and verbal communication.
• A record of improving systems and delivering outcomes across organizational boundaries.
• Comfort working directly with executives on ambiguous and sensitive priorities.
• Ability to balance speed, quality, compliance, and long-term organizational health.
• Authorization to work in the United States for the employer without misrepresenting work status.

Compensation and location

The anticipated base salary range across represented Executive Recruiter searches in San Francisco Bay Area is $150,000 to $240,000 per year. Final compensation depends on the employer, scope, level, experience, and work arrangement and may include bonus, commission, or equity where applicable.
