    Description

    Talent Research and Market Intelligence

    • Conducts comprehensive talent market analyses for senior leadership searches. Develops talent maps identifying prospective candidates across higher education, industry, government, healthcare, and nonprofit sectors, as appropriate. Researches organizational structures, reporting relationships, and leadership succession trends at peer and aspirational institutions. Analyzes candidate pools to assess market availability, competitiveness, and search feasibility. Produces market intelligence reports for hiring leaders and search committees.

    Strategy and Stakeholder Support

    • In partnership with director, develops candidate profiles and recruitment strategy for each search. Provides labor market insights regarding talent availability and compensation trends. Prepares candidate research summaries and briefing materials. Support candidate experience initiatives throughout the search process.

    Candidate Identification and Sourcing

    • Identifies and develops pools of qualified candidates for executive-level searches. Utilizes advanced sourcing techniques through LinkedIn, professional associations, academic publications, conferences, institutional websites, and industry databases. Creates and maintains prospect lists and candidate relationship pipelines. Develops passive candidate outreach strategies.

    Candidate Outreach and Engagement

    • Conducts confidential outreach to prospective candidates. Initiates exploratory conversations regarding leadership opportunities. Assesses candidate interest, qualifications, and alignment with institutional needs. Builds long-term relationships with executive talent for future opportunities. Serves as an ambassador for the university''s mission, values, and culture.

    Data Analytics and Reporting

    • Track sourcing metrics and recruitment outcomes. Monitor pipeline activity and candidate conversion rates. Maintain accurate records within applicant tracking and CRM systems. Utilize data to inform sourcing strategies and continuous improvement efforts.

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

    • Knowledge of executive recruitment methodologies and sourcing strategies.
    • Knowledge of academic leadership structures and shared governance.
    • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
    • Strong research and analytical skills.
    • Ability to identify talent across complex organizational environments.
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion.
    • Ability to build relationships with senior leaders and prospective candidates.
    • Ability to influence senior leaders through data-driven recommendations.
    • Proficiency with applicant tracking systems, CRM platforms, and recruiting technologies.
