Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement networking strategies aligned with organizational IT goals.
- Design, deploy, and maintain network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, VPNs, and cloud solutions.
- Ensure network security through protocols, audits, and incident response strategies.
- Optimize network performance and manage disaster recovery plans.
- Evaluate and manage vendor relationships and contracts.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to align networking solutions with departmental needs.
- Manage networking budgets, including development, tracking, and forecasting.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies.
Requirements
- Network Systems Certification - JNCIP or 5 years of relevant work experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Communications, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 10 to 15 years of infrastructure and data center experience, with at least 3 years in leadership roles.
- 5 years of managerial experience in data center operations.
Preferences
- Experience working in public sector or large organizations.
- Proven track record of implementing innovative network solutions.
