Seeking talented Sous Chefs to support kitchen operations in a senior living community in Maplewood, NJ.
Responsibilities include assisting the Executive Chef to ensure sanitation, safety, and quality standards, training and motivating staff, creatively preparing and presenting high-quality meals, managing inventory and food costs, and implementing new culinary programs.
Requirements: B.S. or A.O.S. degree in Culinary Arts or related field, 3-5 years of culinary experience, proficiency in various kitchen stations, knowledge of food cost and sanitation certifications, and strong communication skills. Knowledge of current culinary trends is a plus.
