Position Summary:

The Executive Support & Projects Coordinator provides administrative and project support to the Chief Operating Officer, EVP of Human Resources, and the VP of Partnerships & Business Affairs while actively assisting in the execution of key initiatives and day-to-day business activities. 

This entry-level role offers a unique opportunity to gain exposure to multiple areas of the business, including operations, human resources, strategic partnerships, food & beverage support, and enterprise-wide improvement initiatives.  Across these areas, this role will be involved in culture and recognition programs, executive support, communications, operational initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts, as more specifically detailed below.  This role will provide a vital administrative and project support capacity while offering a strong foundation for career growth within KemperSports. 

This position reports to the Vice President of Partnerships & Business Affairs. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Project & Key Initiative Support

  • Coordinate the ongoing development, organization, and continuous improvement of the KemperSports’ resource hub (COE)
  • Coordinate the company’s TrueService in Action recognition program, including highlighting service stories, drafting recognition letters, facilitating awards, and tracking program participation
  • Assist with the coordination and implementation of operational initiatives, including Green to a Tee, our Safe Kitchen Audit Program, and other cross-functional projects
  • Support the administration of team member development programs
  • Coordinate onboarding and logistical support for newly hired General Managers and our New General Manager Orientation
  • Create and track detailed letter communications to support performance incentive programs and team member anniversaries
  • Support employee recognition and work-related engagement events (e.g., lunches, volunteer events, parties)

Administrative & Operational Support

  • Provide administrative support to the COO, including coordinating meetings, preparing agendas, and tracking follow-up action items and operational priorities
  • Assist COO with scheduling, travel coordination, and expense reports as needed
  • Perform industry research as needed to support strategic decision-making

Communication & Collaboration

  • Collaborate with Home Office and field teams to support operational excellence, process improvement, and service-focused initiatives across the organization
  • Support preparation of executive presentations, meeting materials, and project updates as needed

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
  • Familiarity with common AI interfaces, and when to best leverage them to gain efficiencies

Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or similar work or internship experience in Business, Hospitality, Communications, Operations, or a related field
