How you'll make an impact:You’ll lead from the front, helping guide the underwriting, management, using McKee’s exclusive program markets, while also working with alternative markets to meet the customers needs. Day to day, you’ll review new and renewal business, use your judgement to accept, modify, or decline risk, and make sure pricing, retention, and service decisions support both the book and the wider team goals. You’ll also keep a close eye on file quality, compliance, and the information needed to back up underwriting decisions.
This role also gives you a real opportunity to shape the work of others. You’ll coach junior colleagues, help check work for accuracy and consistency, and support the team in applying underwriting rules, rating guidance, and insurance regulations. You’ll build trusted relationships with agents, brokers, and producers, spend time in the market to protect existing accounts and open new opportunities, and help turn good conversations into profitable business.
