Job Description

Job Title: Executive Vice President Location: United States Reporting To: Chief Executive Officer - North America

Purpose: The Executive Vice President (EVP) at IWG PLC is responsible for performance and growth of a regional section of the company's U.S. business. The EVP is a strategic and results-driven leader responsible for overseeing the performance and growth of IWG's operations across a multi-state region. This executive will lead sales, operations, and business development teams to deliver on key business objectives including revenue growth, occupancy targets, market expansion, and world-class customer service-all within a hybrid work model. The EVP will be a critical driver of IWG's mission to empower businesses with flexible workspace solutions by fostering a high-performance culture and ensuring consistent execution across all locations. This is a high-impact executive role requiring sales and operations expertise, a sharp commercial mindset, and inspirational leadership to build market share, optimize performance, and shape the future of flexible workspaces in the United States.

IWG has an ambition to get to 30,000 locations over the medium-term by executing multiple strategies and leveraging multiple channels including (but not limited to):

• Company-owned locations • Managed partnerships (with building owners) • Franchise partnerships (with building owners and franchise operators) • M&A

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Leadership & Execution o Lead regional strategy to meet or exceed revenue, occupancy, growth and profitability targets. o Oversee the execution of operational excellence initiatives to enhance customer satisfaction and brand consistency. o Align regional performance with corporate goals and strategic priorities. o Drive data-informed decision-making and continuous innovation in line with U.S. market trends and customer expectations.

• Team Leadership & Development o Directly manage a team of Area Vice Presidents/Directors, Growth Vice Presidents, and cross-functional leaders. o Champions a high-performing culture through coaching, development, and performance management. o Drive accountability and continuous improvement across all teams and locations.

• Sales & Business Development o Partner with sales and marketing teams to drive regional demand generation and conversion. o Identify and capitalize on growth opportunities, including new market entry and expansion within existing markets. o Develop and execute growth strategies including market expansion, operational improvement, and partnership development.

• Operational Oversight o Ensure high standards of operational efficiency, health & safety, and compliance across all centers. o Leverage data and KPIs to drive decisions and operational improvements. o Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial performance for the region.

• Customer Experience & Retention o Champion IWG's customer-first culture by ensuring exceptional service delivery across all touchpoints. o Monitor customer satisfaction metrics and implement action plans to improve experience and retention.

Financial and Market Analysis: • Monitor real estate market trends to identify emerging opportunities and risks. • Assess project profitability and recommend strategies to optimize returns on investment. • Work closely with finance teams to secure funding and manage budgets.

Leadership and Collaboration: • Lead cross-functional teams, including internal staff and external consultants, to deliver high-quality development and acquisition projects. • Foster strong relationships with investors, partners, brokers, and other stakeholders. • Provide mentorship and guidance to team members, promoting professional development and a culture of excellence. • Collaborate with senior leadership to align development and acquisition strategies with broader organizational goals.

Reporting and Compliance: • Develop and maintain reporting systems to track project performance, budgets, and timelines. • Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory, and contractual requirements related to development and acquisitions. • Prepare and present regular updates to executive leadership and stakeholders on project progress and outcomes.

Qualifications:

Education and Experience: • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in operations, sales, or commercial roles-preferably within flexible workspace, hospitality, retail, commercial real estate, or adjacent service sectors. • Proven success leading large, multi-unit businesses with full P&L responsibility. • MBA or equivalent advanced business degree preferred. • Experience working within matrixed, global organizations and fast-paced, customer-centric environments. • Demonstrated expertise in managing franchised models, landlord relationships, or real estate partnerships is highly desirable. • Data-driven decision-maker with a deep understanding of customer-centric operations. • Ability to travel regularly across the region. • Exceptional leadership, communication, and change management skills.
