Job Description

Under general supervision of the Cardiac Services Manager, Exercise Program Coordinator, and the Medical Director the Exercise Technician will be competent in helping cardiopulmonary participants with risk factor modification, assist in the development of exercise prescriptions, protocols, and supervise exercise therapy.

Required Skills/Qualifications/Training/Experience:

  • Good organizational skills
  • Demonstrates clinical competence
  • Computer literate

Preferred Skills/Qualifications/Training/Experience:

  • ACSM Certified Clinical Exercise Physiologist (ACSM-CEP) preferred

Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in exercise physiology or related field required

License/Certification:

  • Current Basic Life Support certification
