We are located in Wisconsin at the Illinois border in the resort town of Lake Geneva. Many of our interns have gone on to full time employment at Parks and Zoos all over the country.

\t\t\t\t\t \t\t\t\t\t

\t\t\t\t\t \t\t\t\t\t

Animal Gardens Petting Zoo is seeking Exotic animal interns, which is a full- time position (6 days a week.) We provide dorm-style housing, and training. This is a unique hands-on experience caring for all types of Exotic animals: llamas, horses, mini-donkeys, bobcats, lemurs, wallabies, mini pigs, peacocks, deer and many more! These intern positions are available for 4-6 months all year round, with housing & laundry facility provided. Public contact and tours are a major portion of these positions, during the summer months. Responsibilities include care, cleaning and maintenance to a variety of birds and animal species. In the Summer you will serve as a tour guide to all Children's Field Trips. Preparing a narrative to teach them about caring for our unique animal residents.
