Under general supervision, performs accounting clerical or bookkeeping tasks to support accounts payable/receivable, and/or other accounting related functions.  Posts journal entries, processes payments or deposits, and verifies accuracy of data.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Places and removes rubber dams, matrix bands, and/or retraction cords.

2. Applies topical anesthesia, fluoride, and desensitizing agents as instructed by a dentist.

3. Removes excess cement.

4. Maintenance of Implant kits

5. Prepares impressions for study models.

6. Prepares, places, and removes temporary crowns.

7. Constructs athletic mouth guards and customized trays.

8. Performs vitality tests.

9. Prepares and fits stainless steel crowns.

10. Removes sutures.

11. Removes and places subsequent periodontal dressing.

12. Dries root canals.

13. Etches teeth.

14. Performs all the duties of a Dental Assistant, Radiology-Certified.
